Job summary

Eurofins Scientific is seeking a Sample Control Technician I in Fort Myers, FL. The role involves receiving, logging, labeling, and shipping samples, maintaining chain of custody, and supporting lab operations with courier duties as needed.

The position requires a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work in English. On-site, full-time with an hourly pay range of $17.12–$18.65.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Professional working proficiency in English (read, write, speak).
• May drive for long periods, up to 8 hours per day.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload incoming samples in adherence to DOT regulations and verify against Chain of Custody.
• Log samples into Lab Management System daily and distribute paperwork to Project Managers.
• Label and deliver samples to appropriate labs for analysis.
• Prepare bottle kits daily for shipping to clients and return for analysis.
• Dispose of spent samples and hazardous materials per procedures.
• Monitor freezer/cooler temperatures daily per SOP.
