Job summary

Eurofins USA Environment Testing in Fort Myers, FL is seeking a detail-oriented Sample Control Technician I to manage the intake, labeling, and routing of laboratory samples. You will verify custody, log entries, and prepare kits for shipment while ensuring compliance with EPA/DOT requirements and safety procedures.

The role includes potential courier duties, inventory maintenance, and on-call sampling; a valid state driver’s license and the ability to pass background checks are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must have valid state driver’s license and pass background checks.
• TWIC/TSA clearance may be required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload samples per DOT and verify against Chain of Custody.
• Log samples in Lab Management System and assign lot numbers.
• Label and deliver samples to appropriate labs daily.
• Prepare bottle kits for shipping to clients according to procedures.
• Dispose of waste per procedures and maintain safe work environment.
• Operate company vehicles and be willing to be on-call for sampling/delivery.
