Job summary

Goodwill Industries of South Texas Inc. in Corpus Christi, TX is seeking a Warehouse Associate II to move, store, process inventory and prepare salvage material for sale, while maintaining a clean, organized work area and upholding Goodwill values.

Responsibilities include sorting goods for salvage, wiring and weighing items, operating the baling machine, compactor, forklift, and pallet jack as required, and loading/unloading trucks.

Qualifications

• Ability to sort and classify product lines per company procedures.
• Able to pass pre-employment background check and drug/alcohol screen.
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal staff and external customers.
• Ability to work well with others in a respectful, collaborative manner.
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Sort goods to determine salvage items.
• Wire, bundle, weigh, and mark salvage items.
• Operate baling machine, compactor, and forklift as needed.
• Load/unload trucks and move inventory with pallet jack or forklift.
• Maintain and service forklift; notify for major repairs.
• Organize warehouse and manage space efficiently.
• Break down cardboard and place in designated area.
• Adhere to safety, loss prevention, and agency policies.
