Job summary

Goodwill Houston is seeking a Dock Worker 2 to support the Donated Goods Retail operation. You will process goods, assist with loading/unloading, operate material handling equipment, and ensure safe, efficient movement of donations and products.

Must have a Goodwill forklift certification, six months of material handling experience, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This position is Non-Exempt and paid at $13.50 per hour in Houston, Texas.

Qualifications

• Six (6) months of experience as a Material Handler, or equivalent work experience required.
• Goodwill Forklift Certified.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for processing goods and keeping equipment emptied for transportation flow according to GWH policy.
• Ensure the efficient and cost-effective operation and stewardship of the outlet store and donation center to maximize profitability for mission services funding.
• Operates forklift and other assigned equipment in a safe manner in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Maintain a cooperative, functional work relationship with all Team Members.
• Performs other duties as assigned by Management.
