Job summary

Andersen Tax is seeking a Manager for our State & Local Tax practice to oversee tax engagements for a diverse client base, ranging from Fortune 500 firms to venture-backed startups. You will drive innovative tax planning, consulting and compliance.

The role emphasizes leadership, mentoring Seniors and Associates, and opportunities to contribute to business development while staying current with evolving tax regulations.

Qualifications

4+ years relevant work experience in an accounting firm with emphasis on income tax
Bachelor’s and/or advanced degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field (Preferred)
Advanced credential allowing for client representation before the IRS (CPA or JD)
Self-starter with initiative to seek opportunities in a fast-paced environment
Proficient use of technology and tax software

Responsibilities

Manage tax projects for diverse clients from Fortune 500 to startups
Provide innovative tax planning, consulting and compliance
Lead client engagements and supervise team members
Review tax memoranda, nexus studies, and client deliverables
Support business development through proposals and webinars
Stay current with state and federal tax developments and regulations
