Job summary

EisnerAmper's SALT practice seeks a Senior Manager to lead multistate state and local tax engagements with a focus on compliance, planning, and strategy for diverse clients. You will work across teams to address allocation, nexus, and residency issues while delivering high-quality tax solutions.

The ideal candidate has a CPA, 8+ years in state taxation, and experience with tiered flow-through entities and investment vehicles; a Master’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent field.
• 8+ years of experience in state taxation.
• Experience with state tax planning, tax research, and tax analysis.
• CPA certification.
• Experience with tiered flow-through entities and investment vehicles.
• Master's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Multistate consulting and compliance services for state and local tax.
• Technical review of state and local tax returns with focus on allocation, apportionment, nexus, and unitary filings.
• Residency issues and related tax considerations.
• Sales tax consulting, including nexus and taxability studies.
• Audit defense and research/writing.
• Due diligence and analyzing state tax legislation.
• Collaborating with in-house tax professionals and clients.
• Advising on pass-through entity issues including estimated payments and K-1s.
