Collaboration with clients and in-house tax professionals is essential for success. The role requires a CPA and 8+ years of state taxation experience, with strong research, analysis, and planning skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent field.
• 8+ years of experience in state taxation.
• Experience with state tax planning, tax research, and tax analysis.
• CPA certification.
• Experience with tiered flow-through entities and investment vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Multistate consulting and compliance services for state and local tax.
• Technical review of state and local tax returns with nexus, allocation, and apportionment considerations.
• Research and writing on state tax issues and legislation.
• Residing issues and residency analysis.
• Coordination with in-house tax professionals and clients.
• Reviewing pass-through entity issues and investor state tax packages.
• Assistance with tax planning, restructuring, and accounting for income taxes.
