Job summary

Crowe’s State and Local Tax (SALT) team seeks a SALT Senior Manager to join the Lead Tax Services group in a hybrid work model near a Crowe office in the United States. The role focuses on coordinating client engagements, leadership of staff, and driving cross-collaboration and sales efforts within state and local tax.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of SALT experience and holds a CPA/JD/LLM/CMI, with strong research and client-relations skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• CPA, JD/LLM, or CMI required.
• Minimum of 8 years of tax experience in public accounting with a state and local tax focus.
• Strong research, writing and interpersonal skills with ability to develop and maintain excellent client relationships.
• Demonstrated ability and desire to perform in a high-energy, dynamic environment.
• Review/supervisory experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, plan and manage client engagements and delivery of client work within state and local income tax.
• Serve as the main client contact responsible for providing exceptional client service.
• Manage and develop staff through coaching and training.
• Build an external network; assist with sales and cross-collaboration efforts.
• Support thought leadership for state and local tax and assist transformation efforts.
