Crowe is seeking a State & Local Tax Senior Manager for the Lead Tax Services group. The role is hybrid for candidates near a Crowe office, with a rich range of responsibilities in coordinating client engagements and leading tax teams.

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's in Accounting, CPA/JD/LLM/CMI, and at least 8 years of SALT/public accounting experience, plus strong research, writing and interpersonal abilities to manage client relationships and drive growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• CPA, JD/LLM, or CMI required
• Minimum of 8 years of tax experience in public accounting with a state and local tax focus
• Strong research, writing and interpersonal skills with ability to develop and maintain excellent client relationships
• Demonstrated ability and desire to perform in a high-energy, dynamic environment
• Having some review and supervisory experience is a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, plan and manage client engagements and delivery of client work within state and local income tax.
• Serve as the main client contact responsible for providing exceptional client service.
• Manage and develop staff, senior staff and managers through coaching and training.
• Build an external network, assist with sales and cross-collaboration efforts and support thought leadership for state and local tax.
• Assist in transformation efforts for state and local tax.
