Crowe is seeking a State & Local Tax Senior Manager, Lead Tax Services in the Washington, DC area. The role offers a hybrid work model with the potential for remote arrangements.

The successful candidate will coordinate client engagements, manage staff, and contribute to business development and thought leadership in SALT. Required: Bachelor's in Accounting, CPA/JD/LLM/CMI, and 8+ years of tax experience in public accounting with a SALT focus; strong research, writing and interpersonal skills;

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• CPA, JD/LLM, or CMI required.
• Minimum of 8 years of tax experience in public accounting with a state and local tax focus.
• Possess strong research, writing skills and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain excellent client relationships.
• Demonstrated ability and desire to perform in a high-energy, dynamic environment.
• Having some review and supervisory experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, plan and manage client engagements and delivery of client work within state and local income tax.
• Serve as the main client contact responsible for providing exceptional client service.
• Manage and develop staff, senior staff and managers through coaching and training.
• Build an external network, assist with sales and cross-collaboration efforts and support thought leadership for state and local tax.
• Assist in transformation efforts for state and local tax.
