Job summary

Kao is seeking an Area Sales Manager to drive sales in Massachusetts and New Hampshire, leading a team to win new business and deepen relationships with salons. You will coordinate with the Education Manager to maximize educational programs and sales impact.

The role reports to the Senior Sales Manager and requires building long-term partnerships with customers, delivering performance against targets, and promoting Kao brands in the direct sales market.

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree preferred.
• 3-5 years of Salon Sales experience.
• Field Sales Management experience.

Responsibilities

• Present Kao USA Salon products and programs to salons to drive purchases and investment in Goldwell & KMS.
• Lead sales team to meet goals within the District and grow market share.
• Coach direct reports with regular meetings, feedback, and training to improve performance.
• Model the highest standards of honesty and integrity in line with Kao's values.
• Prepare periodic reports showing sales efforts and results.
• Participate in industry events and shows to promote Kao products.
• Monitor competitors and adapt sales strategies to address market trends and client needs.
