Job summary

Sun Tan City of Southwest Missouri in Raleigh, NC seeks an energetic Assistant Salon Director to maintain a high-energy, client-centric environment and drive store performance. You will supervise Tanning Consultants and lead by example to deliver exceptional service while achieving productivity goals.

You will coach, train, and motivate the team, manage daily salon operations, control inventory, and help optimize revenue and expenses.

Qualifications

• Management and/or Sales preferred, but not required.
• Basic computer skills with Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to lead in a fast-paced environment and coach others.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage daily operations of the salon in a fast-paced environment.
• Lead by example in creating a client-centric experience and meeting personal sales expectations.
• Maintain a professional and impeccably clean salon environment.
• Establish goals for Team Members and provide coaching and feedback.
• Generate sales reports, maintain inventory, and assist with Salon Director functions.
• Help manage top-line revenue and expenses and optimize labor costs.
• Ensure adequate staffing for productivity and customer service, including nights and weekends as needed.
• Work five days per week, approximately a 32–40 hour schedule.
