Sun Tan City is seeking a Salon Director in Training in Des Moines, IA. The role focuses on driving store performance, delivering exceptional client service, and supervising Tanning Consultants to meet goals.

You will lead by example in operations, sales, and customer experiences, while ensuring a clean, professional salon and adherence to schedules. Requires strong leadership, team coaching, and ability to work nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Management or sales experience required.
• Beauty industry or customer service experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage daily salon operations in a fast-paced environment.
• Lead by example to deliver a client-centric experience and meet sales targets.
• Maintain a professional, impeccably clean salon.
• Set goals and provide coaching to Team Members.
• Generate sales reports and assist with inventory.
• Support Salon Director to manage top-line revenue and labor costs.
• Ensure appropriate staffing for productivity and service; nights/weekends.
