This role drives quality grooming, supports certification programs, and promotes growth opportunities for stylists and bathers.

The position emphasizes leadership, coaching, and adherence to PetSmart’s standards while delivering professional grooming with care for every pet.

Qualifications

• 2+ years grooming experience.
• Full time availability; evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Proficiency with grooming tools and safety equipment.
• Proficiency in computer applications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead associate development, training, onboarding, mentoring, and coaching.
• Support certification of bathers and stylists; identify internal candidates for academy.
• Delegate daily salon tasks and monitor performance; provide feedback.
• Improve pet parent experience through grooming services and bookings.
• Drive salon sales and meet productivity targets.
• Maintain salon standards, cleanliness, and humane pet handling.
