PetSmart’s Salon Experience Lead (Groomer & Salon Trainer) oversees grooming quality and leads a high-performing salon team. You will train bathers and stylists, develop talent, and ensure pet safety and satisfaction while delivering grooming services per PetSmart standards.

Responsibilities include coaching staff, managing bookings, promoting salon services, and maintaining store standards. This full-time role requires grooming experience and strong communication skills in a fast-paced retail

Qualifications

• 2+ years grooming experience
• Full-time availability; evenings, weekends, holidays as needed
• Proficiency with grooming tools and safety procedures
• Proficiency in computer applications and salon booking systems
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to stay organized and maintain safety standards

Responsibilities

• Lead salon team development and training
• Certify bathers and stylists through the grooming program
• Manage daily salon tasks and scheduling
• Assist and support associates with grooming services
• Promote salon sales and meet targets
• Ensure cleanliness and humane pet handling in grooming areas
