Sun Tan City is seeking a Salon Director to lead a team and deliver the Sun Tan City experience. The role involves supervising staff, hiring and training, scheduling shifts, ensuring client satisfaction, and maintaining salon cleanliness and safety.

Ideal candidates have strong leadership and management experience, plus sales acumen. College education is optional; basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook) are recommended for daily operations.

Qualifications

• College education preferred, but not required.
• Management and/or Sales experience required.
• Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook) are recommended.
• Ability to manage effectively in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple situations.
• Strong knowledge of client service techniques and operational practices.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational/planning skills.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach and mentor.
• Team building skills.
• Ability to prioritize and delegate.

Responsibilities

• Developing and coaching employees to provide amazing client experiences.
• Following up swiftly on client concerns and issues.
• Maintains a calm demeanor during periods of high volume.
• Displays a client comes first attitude and holds team members accountable for service.
• Drives company metrics by developing action plans and instructing the salon team.
• Manages with integrity and promotes the company culture and mission.
• Plans, identifies, communicates, and delegates responsibilities to team members.
• Ensures cleanliness, maintenance and organization of the salon.
• Manages staffing levels to support development and operations.
• Ensures wage/hour compliance for non-exempt staff and minors.
• Uses labor guidelines, reports, cash management and inventory tools.
• Analyzes financial reports to address trends and issues in performance.
• Conducts performance assessments and sets goals to improve sales.
• Manages ongoing sales.
