Sun Tan City, a leader in tanning services, is seeking a Salon Director in Training in Nashville to propel store performance, elevate client service, and oversee Tanning Consultants. You will drive productivity, uphold operational excellence, and role-model urgency to meet company objectives.

The role requires management or sales background, strong customer service, and the ability to coach a team. This is a full-time opportunity with growth potential in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Management or Sales experience required.
• Beauty industry and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to manage effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of client service techniques and operational practices.
• Problem-solving and organizational/planning skills.
• Strong leadership with coaching/mentoring ability.
• Team-building and delegation skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage daily salon operations in a fast-paced environment.
• Lead by example to create a client-centric experience and meet sales goals.
• Maintain a clean, professional salon environment.
• Set clear goals for team members and provide coaching and feedback.
• Generate sales reports, manage inventory, and assist with salon Director duties.
• Support top-line revenue and expense control.
• Ensure proper staffing to maximize productivity and customer service while controlling labor costs.
• Work nights and weekends; 5-day workweek 35–45 hours.
