Sun Tan City is seeking a Salon Director in Training in Johnson City, TN. The role focuses on driving store performance, delivering exceptional client experiences, and supervising tanning consultants to meet productivity goals.

You will lead by example, coach the team, and ensure operational excellence across daily salon activities. Ideal candidates will have management or sales experience, strong customer service skills, and basic computer proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Qualifications

• Experience in management or sales is preferred.
• Customer service experience is required.
• Basic computer skills with Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to lead in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple situations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage daily salon operations.
• Lead by example in client-centric sales and service.
• Maintain a clean, professional salon environment.
• Set clear goals and coaching for the team.
• Generate sales reports, maintain inventory, and assist with salon Director functions.
• Help control top-line revenue and expenses.
• Maintain staffing levels for productivity and service quality.
• Ability to work nights & weekends.
• Work a 5-day week with ~35–45 hours.
