The Judge Group is seeking a remote Sales Account Representative for a laboratory equipment manufacturer. The role focuses on developing new business, expanding existing accounts, and selling technical laboratory instruments to end users.

Compensation includes a base of 90k to 100k with a 30k to 50k target bonus. The position requires residence in Houston, Dallas, Austin, or San Antonio and about 60% travel, with the ability to work independently from a home office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 2–5 years of directly related laboratory equipment sales experience.
• Experience developing new accounts and expanding business within laboratory, pharmaceutical, environmental, oil and gas, university, or contract research markets.
• Ability to work independently from a home office and travel domestically approximately 60%.

Responsibilities

• Sell technical laboratory instruments and related solutions
• Achieve annual sales targets for the assigned territory
• Develop and execute a territory sales plan focused on key accounts, prospecting, seminars, trade shows, and targeted outreach
• Build account profiles and identify opportunities within new and existing customers
• Understand customer organizations, laboratory workflows, business strategies, and key programs
• Develop strong knowledge of product features, benefits, and applications
• Identify new applications and present solutions that address customer needs
• Conduct basic product demonstrations and clearly communicate technical value
• Coordinate effectively with applications engineering, inside sales, and customer service teams
• Maintain flexibility to support customer needs and business deadlines, including occasional evenings or weekends

WORKSITE

REMOTE (Must live in Houston, Dallas, Austin or San Antonio)

MUST HAVE: Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 2–5 years of directly related experience selling laboratory equipment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

MUST HAVE: Experience developing new accounts and expanding existing business within laboratory, pharmaceutical, environmental, oil and gas, university, or contract research markets

MUST HAVE: Ability to work independently from a home office and travel domestically approximately 60%, including overnight stays

RESPONSIBILITIES

REQUIREMENTS

• - Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 2–5 years of directly related laboratory equipment sales experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• - Experience with chromatography methods, analytical instruments, or regulated laboratory environments is strongly preferred
• - Working knowledge of Salesforce and Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook.
• - Must be a US Citizen or a Green Card holder
• - Open to approximately 60% travel
