Job summary

Toyota is seeking a Technical Manager (Salesforce Platform) in Plano, TX, to lead architecture and development of Salesforce platforms integrated with cloud-native services and enterprise systems. You will drive scalable, secure solutions while mentoring engineers and aligning with business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• 12+ years of hands-on software development experience on large-scale systems.
• Advanced expertise in Salesforce Service Platform technologies including Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Omni-Channel, Apex, LWC, Shield.
• Deep understanding of Salesforce integration patterns using REST, Bulk APIs, Platform Events, Streaming APIs.
• Strong foundation in distributed systems and cloud-native architectures (AWS).
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Copado or Harness integrated with Salesforce.
• Knowledge of observability, security, and performance optimization.
• Exposure to GenAI-powered development lifecycle practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of Salesforce Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Omni-Channel.
• Own cross-domain initiatives spanning Salesforce, backend services, integrations, and cloud infrastructure.
• Drive architecture decisions and best practices for operational excellence, performance, and resilience.
• Collaborate with product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into robust solutions.
• Mentor engineering teams through code reviews and architectural guidance.
• Evaluate and integrate AI-powered development tools into the lifecycle.
• Ensure platform security, compliance and observability.
