Job summary

Tractor Zoom is seeking a highly talented Software Engineer in West Des Moines, IA for a hybrid role. You will design and implement features for our Sales Platform and Data solutions, contribute to architecture, and participate in CI/CD and testing to ensure robust delivery.

You will work with React, TypeScript, JavaScript, and AWS, while embracing AI-assisted development tools and best practices. Salesforce experience is a plus, with potential to grow in certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in CS/Engineering.
• 2+ years of software development experience.
• 1+ years of Salesforce platform capabilities and best practices.
• Salesforce certifications or pursuing them is a plus.
• Experience with React, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD solutions such as GitHub Actions.
• Experience working in an AWS environment.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and best practices.
• Ability to write reliable, clean, and maintainable code efficiently.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative team mindset.

Responsibilities

• Build great software for customers and users.
• Design and develop features for Sales Platform and Data solutions with minimal direction.
• Contribute to architectural discussions with scalability and performance focus.
• Write automated tests and conduct code reviews to maintain quality.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, tests, and deployments.
• Apply security best practices to protect user data.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and roadmap relevance.
• Support Salesforce development and architecture initiatives and goals.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and code quality.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
