Job summary

Tractor Zoom Inc is seeking a highly talented Software Engineer to join our West Des Moines team. You will help architect and develop scalable solutions for our Sales Platform and Data products, leveraging React, TypeScript, Salesforce, and AWS.

The role emphasizes collaboration, CI/CD, security, and AI-assisted tooling to accelerate delivery. Hybrid schedule includes 4 days in office with 1 day remote, in Des Moines metro.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of software development experience.
• Hands-on Salesforce platform experience desired.
• Proficiency with React, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
• Experience with CI/CD workflows (GitHub Actions).
• Experience deploying in AWS environments.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools.

Responsibilities

• #1 Priority – Build great software that our customers and users will love.
• Design and develop features and functionality for our Sales Platform and Data solutions with minimal direction.
• Contribute meaningfully to architectural discussions, with an eye toward scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Write automated tests and conduct code reviews to maintain code quality, maintainability, and adherence to team standards.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support automated build, test, and deployment processes.
• Apply security best practices to protect the integrity and confidentiality of user data.
• Stay current with emerging technologies, trends, and best practices; assess their relevance to our roadmap.
• Support and assist with Salesforce development and architecture initiatives and goals.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and code quality.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 2+ years of software development experience.
• 1+ years of experience in Salesforce platform capabilities, limitations and best practices.
• Salesforce certifications or working on certification(s) is a plus.
• Experience with React, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD solutions such as GitHub Actions.
• Experience working in an AWS environment.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and best practices.Ability to write reliable, clean, and maintainable code efficiently.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative team mindset.
