Job summary

Ryder is seeking an Application Support Engineer II to provide advanced application support and engineering-level troubleshooting across enterprise platforms. You will lead on complex issues, identify root causes, and implement fixes to improve system stability as part of Ryder’s Technology Talent Incubator Program.

This role requires hands-on development experience in C#, .NET, and Salesforce (Apex, Lightning), with opportunities to grow into engineering, data, automation, and security-focused

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field.
• 2–4+ years in Application support or development.
• Programming experience in SQL, Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
• Familiarity with Salesforce and .NET.
• Experience with SQL data querying.
• Familiarity with APIs and integrations.
• Experience with RCA/problem management.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve moderately complex incidents across applications and integrations.
• Perform advanced data analysis and debugging to identify root causes.
• Implement configuration changes and light development fixes to improve performance.
• Own issues end-to-end, including diagnosis, resolution, validation, and documentation.
• Identify systemic issues and contribute to long-term solutions and process improvements.
• Partner with development teams to refine escalations and reduce repeat issues.
• Contribute to knowledge base improvements and automation opportunities.
• Provide guidance to Level I engineers and participate in training.
