Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking an Application Support Engineer II to fuse advanced application support with engineering-level troubleshooting across enterprise platforms. You will lead on complex issues, diagnose root causes, and implement fixes to improve system stability.

This role is part of Ryder’s Technology Talent Incubator Program, offering hands-on experience with cloud platforms, data engineering, and security-focused projects, plus mentorship to grow toward future engineering roles.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve moderately complex incidents across applications and integrations.
• Perform advanced data analysis and debugging to identify root causes of system issues.
• Implement configuration changes and light development fixes to improve system performance.
• Own issues end-to-end, including diagnosis, validation, and documentation.
• Identify systemic issues and contribute to long-term solutions and process improvements.
• Partner with development teams to refine escalations and reduce repeat issues.
• Contribute to knowledge base improvements and automation opportunities.
