Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Salesforce Life Sciences Functional Architect to lead the functional design of workstreams within a Life Sciences program. You will run requirements sessions, translate business processes into platform solutions, and guide a team of analysts and configurators.

You will work closely with client owners and technical leads to ensure designs are implemented effectively, while growing into broader architecture leadership. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of Salesforce experience in a functional design, business analysis or solution consulting capacity.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience delivering Salesforce solutions for Life Sciences clients or another regulated industry.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience with Salesforce Life Sciences Patient services experience.
• Minimum of 1 year of Salesforce Life Sciences experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (minimum 12 years); if Associate's Degree, minimum 6 years of work experience.

Responsibilities

• Own the functional solution design for an assigned workstream or capability area within a Salesforce Life Sciences program, within the overall architecture direction.
• Lead design workshops with client business and product owners, translating outcomes into user stories and functional specifications.
• Configure and demonstrate Salesforce Life Sciences capabilities, building prototypes and conducting solution walkthroughs with stakeholders.
• Make day-to-day design decisions within your domain and escalate cross-workstream decisions to the lead architect.
• Partner with technical leads and developers to ensure designs are buildable and support estimation, sprint planning, backlog grooming and defect triage.
• Guide and review the work of functional analysts, configurators and offshore team members, providing coaching and quality oversight.
