Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Salesforce Life Sciences Functional Architect to lead end-to-end functional design within a Life Sciences program. You will run requirements and design sessions, translate business processes into platform solutions, and guide a team of analysts and configurators while partnering with technical leads to deliver.

You bring practical Life Sciences domain knowledge, challenge assumptions, and shape better solutions with high-quality designs. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of Salesforce experience in functional design or solution consulting.
• Experience delivering Salesforce Life Sciences or regulated industry solutions.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (12 years total).
• Experience with patient services and Life Sciences cloud concepts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the functional solution design for an assigned workstream within Salesforce Life Sciences.
• Lead design workshops with client business and product owners, translate outcomes to user stories and specs.
• Configure and demonstrate Salesforce Life Sciences capabilities; build prototypes and walkthroughs.
• Make day-to-day design decisions, document trade-offs, escalate cross-workstream risks.
• Collaborate with technical leads to ensure designs are buildable and support estimation and sprint planning.
• Guide and review work of analysts and offshore team members; provide coaching and quality oversight.
• Contribute to architecture governance and design reviews with standardized approaches.
• Support testing, data migration, training, and deployment activities for your workstream.
• Contribute to pursuits with demos, reusable assets, and accelerators for Life Sciences practice.
• Identify and raise design, scope, and delivery risks; partner with leadership on mitigations.
• Travel may be required for this role (25%–100%).
