  • Document requirements, flows, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Collaborate with admins, developers, and project teams to align solutions.
  • Contribute to Data360 initiatives and Salesforce strategy.
  • Participate in testing, UAT, deployment, and post-implementation activities.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Business Analyst for a hybrid contract opportunity in the Charlotte area, with an initial duration of 6 months and potential for extension and/or transition into a full-time position. This role will support a major Salesforce transformation, with a primary focus on Sales Cloud and Service Cloud and the opportunity to help shape the organization’s future adoption of Salesforce Data360.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements, understand business processes, and translate business needs into effective Salesforce solutions.
  • Facilitate discovery sessions, workshops, and stakeholder meetings to identify process improvements, automation opportunities, and business requirements.
  • Support and optimize Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud processes across multiple business areas.
  • Lead change management activities, including user adoption, training, communications, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Collaborate with Salesforce administrators, developers, project teams, and business stakeholders to ensure solutions align with business objectives.
  • Document business requirements, functional requirements, process flows, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Identify opportunities to improve Salesforce processes, workflows, automation, and overall user experience.
  • Help support the organization’s evolving Salesforce strategy, including early-stage initiatives around Data360.
  • Participate in testing, user acceptance testing, deployment, and post-implementation activities.
Qualifications
  • Strong experience as a Salesforce Business Analyst in complex business or enterprise environments.
  • Hands‑on experience working with Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce capabilities, business processes, requirements gathering, and solution design.
  • Experience facilitating workshops, discovery sessions, stakeholder meetings, and requirements-gathering activities.
  • Strong experience with process improvement, business analysis, user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional documentation.
  • Experience supporting Salesforce implementations, enhancements, testing, deployment, and user adoption.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively bridge the gap between business and technical teams.
  • Experience working closely with Salesforce administrators, developers, architects, and project teams.
  • Exposure to Salesforce Data360 or broader Salesforce data initiatives is a plus.
  • Must be comfortable working 2-3 days onsite in the DC area.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
