Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. (AWS) in Seattle seeks a Salesforce-focused developer to define and build the next GTM planning platform for the Sales organization.

You’ll work on Salesforce Territory Planning and Maps, APIs, and scalable apps to enable rapid time-to-market for new products and services. The role requires strong analytics, customer-obsessed mindset, and experience with cross-functional teams in an agile setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mathematics, engineering, statistics, computer science or a related field.
• Certification as a Salesforce Platform Developer.
• Experience developing web services or with Salesforce API (REST, SOAP).
• Experience implementing Salesforce Lightning applications using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning App Builder.
• 4+ years of experience developing on Salesforce platform.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical analysis, design, development, implementation of applications with necessary customization
• Participate in planning and analysis of requirements for system enhancements for Salesforce Territory Planning/Salesforce Maps
• Support cross systems and related integrations across Salesforce ecosystem
• Build solutions on Salesforce.com platform, including development in Force.com, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, Apex and Web Services
• Work with a cross-functional Scrum team to maintain and enhance Salesforce applications in iterative release cycles
• Troubleshoot and fix defects for planned releases and production issues
• Research and find opportunities to utilize SFDC best practices, guidelines to improve system productivity, scaling and monitoring
