Job summary

Old Dominion Freight Line is seeking a Salesforce Developer II to design world‑class Salesforce apps for evolving CRM needs. You will develop code within the Salesforce platform, work with BAs and admins, and build scalable Tableau dashboards for data insights.

The role requires 4+ years SFDC development, Apex/Lightning/Visualforce expertise, and strong communication skills to support business decisions. Competitive salary and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Salesforce development experience.
• Experience developing customer-facing interfaces.
• Experience writing Apex classes and triggers.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication and data presentation skills.
• Understanding of Salesforce architecture and API.
• Experience with Salesforce data and objects.
• Experience with Tableau Dashboard development.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and translate into Salesforce solutions.
• Design, code, and implement Salesforce applications.
• Develop Apex classes/triggers, Lightning components, and Visualforce.
• Estimate work effort and set realistic development schedules.
• Assist with releases and deployments of new/updated apps.
• Develop integrations from Salesforce to internal and third‑party services.
• Test stability and functionality of applications, fix bugs.
• Maintain security and integrity of software; design and maintain Tableau dashboards.
