Job summary

Old Dominion Freight Line is seeking a Salesforce Developer II to design and build Salesforce applications to support our CRM and analytics needs. You will collaborate with Business Analysts and Salesforce Administrators to deliver scalable solutions, including Apex classes and triggers, Lightning Components, and Tableau data visualizations.

4+ years of Salesforce development, strong communication, and experience integrating Salesforce with other apps are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or software engineering preferred.
• Platform Developer II Certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements, translating those requirements into customized solutions using the Salesforce platform.
• Designing, coding, and implementing Salesforce applications.
• Develop Apex (classes and triggers), Lightning Components, and Visualforce extending Salesforce capabilities to support our business requirements.
• Assist in estimation of work effort and set a realistic schedule for development.
• Assist with release cycles to implement and deploy updates to existing applications and code.
• Develop integrations from Salesforce to internal proprietary and third-party services.
• Test the stability and functionality of the application.
• Troubleshooting and fixing bugs.
• Maintain the security and integrity of the application software.
• Design, develop, and maintain Tableau dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.
• Support Tableau Server/Cloud deployments, publishing, scheduling, and refreshes.
