Job summary

Old Dominion Freight Line is seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer II to design world-class applications for our evolving CRM needs and to deliver scalable Tableau visualizations. You will work with Business Analysts and Administrators to build solutions that drive key business decisions and maintain data security.

Responsibilities include developing Apex, Lightning, and Visualforce components, plus integrations and dashboard development, with a focus on high performance and reliability

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or software engineering preferred.
• Platform Developer II Certification preferred.
• 4+ years of Salesforce development experience.
• Experience developing customer-facing interfaces.
• Experience writing Apex classes and triggers.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience integrating Salesforce with other applications.
• Proficiency in SQL for data querying and analysis.
• Experience with Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server/Cloud.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into Salesforce solutions.
• Design, code, and implement Salesforce applications.
• Develop Apex classes/triggers, Lightning components, and Visualforce.
• Estimate work effort with project leadership and schedule development.
• Assist with releases and deployments of new or updated code.
• Develop integrations from Salesforce to internal and third-party services.
• Test application stability and functionality and fix bugs.
• Maintain security and data integrity of the application.
• Design, develop, and maintain Tableau dashboards and reports.
• Support Tableau Server/Cloud deployments, publishing, scheduling, and refreshes.
