Old Dominion Freight Line is seeking a Salesforce Developer II to design world-class Salesforce applications and deliver scalable Tableau analytics. The role collaborates with Business Analysts and Administrators to meet CRM requirements, with a focus on high-performance data visuals and secure, reliable integrations.

Applicants should have 4+ years of Salesforce development, strong SQL and Tableau expertise, and proven communication skills to work with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Salesforce development experience.
• Experience developing dashboards using Tableau.
• Proficiency in SQL for querying and data analysis.
• Experience with Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server/Cloud.
• Experience integrating Salesforce with other applications.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Understanding of Salesforce architecture and API.
• Experience using GitHub or other version control software.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements, translating those requirements into customized solutions using the Salesforce platform.
• Design, coding, and implementing Salesforce applications.
• Develop Apex (classes and triggers), Lightning Components, and Visualforce extending Salesforce capabilities.
• Assist in estimation of work effort and set realistic development schedule.
• Assist with release cycles to implement updates to existing applications.
• Develop integrations from Salesforce to internal and third-party services.
• Test the stability and functionality of the application.
• Troubleshoot and fix bugs; maintain security and integrity of the app.
• Design, develop, and maintain Tableau dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.
• Support Tableau Server/Cloud deployments, publishing, scheduling, and refreshes.
