Job summary

The Obama Foundation in Chicago offers a remote role for a Development Data & Systems Analyst who will optimize Salesforce CRM, manage the internal data ticketing system, and support frontline fundraisers. You will co-design and test workflows for duplicate management and complex grant reporting, while ensuring data quality and documentation.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years hands-on data or systems experience in non-profit development is preferred.
• Strong Salesforce CRM skills with ability to build complex reports and dashboards.
• Experience managing a data request queue or help desk.
• Analytical, detail-oriented, and able to translate technical concepts for non-technical staff.
• Familiarity with major gifts, pledge schedules, and grant tracking is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Development team’s Salesforce ticketing system and SLAs.
• Design and test workflows for duplicate management, activity tracking, and grant reporting.
• Build reports and dashboards for donor recognition and fundraising revenue.
• Perform data hygiene, QA testing, and maintain documentation for the system.
