Job summary

The Obama Foundation seeks a Development Data & Systems Analyst to optimize and maintain our Salesforce CRM ecosystem. You will lead the development team’s ticketing system, co-design workflows for duplicate management and complex grant reporting, and ensure data quality across donor recognition and fundraising dashboards.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of hands-on experience in database management, data analytics, or systems administration, preferably within a non-profit environment.
• Proficiency with Salesforce CRM in a non-profit context (NPSP or Nonprofit Cloud preferred); ability to build complex reports, dashboards, and fields.
• Proven experience managing a data request queue or ticketing help desk system; translate complex concepts for non-technical staff.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and QA skills; meticulous data accuracy and hygiene.
• Familiarity with non-profit fundraising mechanics, including major gifts, multi-year pledge schedules, and grant tracking.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Development team’s Salesforce ticketing system: triage, prioritize, and resolve data, reporting, and access requests within SLAs.
• Design, build, and enforce standardized Salesforce workflows for donor naming, recognition, and bespoke benefits for OPC and Principal Gift donors.
• Develop custom tracking frameworks, reports, and dashboards to capture the lifecycle and financial milestones of complex gifts and grants.
• Perform QA testing in Salesforce sandbox for new features, fixes, integrations, or automation flows before production.
• Maintain data hygiene through regular cleanup, audits, and documentation of configurations and standards.
