Job summary

Living Spaces Furniture in Monrovia, CA is seeking a Sales Training Supervisor to coach and develop the store team, elevating guest engagement and sales proficiency. You will guide training, staffing, scheduling, and floor leadership to ensure the team performs at a high level and delivers an exceptional guest experience.

The role requires 5 years of retail experience with supervisory background, strong Microsoft Office skills, and ability to facilitate live trainings for groups.

Qualifications

• Education/Experience: High School Diploma or GED. 5 years of retail experience in a direct customer interactive environment required. High volume experience preferred. 3 years of supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain focus on the development of each team member through the sales proficiency process.
• Ensure the store team is accurately staffed.
• Assist with developing schedules that match team member skills to guest demand.
• Model the Living Spaces Guest Engagement Sales Model during engagements.
• Execute Sales Floor Leaderhip and Guest Engagement Leadership responsibilities when assigned.
• Ensure team completes ongoing development training.
• Be knowledgeable about all Living Spaces Training content.
• Facilitate live trainings to small and large groups.
• Address escalated guest situations and resolutions.
• Interpret data to assess current departmental focus.
• Partner with Sales Managers to meet and exceed sales goals.
• Foster development to build a strong talent bench for growth.
• Cultivate a positive store culture with servant leadership to boost morale and meet business goals.
• Develop team for growth opportunities.
• Onboard new team members with leadership collaboration.
• Engage with guests throughout the store to provide sales assistance and uphold high guest service.
