Job summary

Heartland Coca-Cola Bottling Company is seeking a Sales Instructor to develop, implement, and oversee training programs for the sales team. The role focuses on equipping representatives with the skills, knowledge, and strategies to meet and exceed targets.

The position requires an associate degree (Bachelor’s preferred) and at least 5 years in sales, plus 2 years of training experience. Travel and flexible hours are expected; proficiency in Office tools is essential.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in business administration, education, or related field; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a sales position or advisor role.
• Minimum of 2 years of presentation and facilitation/training skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to articulate complex concepts clearly.
• Experience developing training materials and curriculum design.
• Willingness to travel frequently and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software for creating training materials.
• Strong organizational skills and detail orientation; ability to manage multiple projects.
• Passion for teaching, learning, and helping others succeed in their careers.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver comprehensive sales training programs, including onboarding and ongoing development for sales teams.
• Create training materials such as presentations and manuals; collaborate on e-learning modules.
• Conduct in-person and virtual training sessions; provide coaching to sales representatives.
• Develop assessments to measure training effectiveness and identify improvement areas.
• Track and report training outcomes and maintain records of trainee progress.
• Stay current on industry trends and best practices to improve content and delivery.
