Job summary

Meier Agency, a growing independent insurance agency in Farmington, MO, seeks a Sales Trainer who will build a client book through active field engagement and advance into leadership while continuing field work with sales calls and trainer responsibilities. You will design hands-on training, coach new hires, and collaborate with Sales Managers to tailor programs.

A license in Health & Life is required or pursued with licensing reimbursement offered; base compensation reflects a strong commission

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Excellent communication and coaching skills.
• Willingness to obtain Health & Life license; licensing reimbursement offered.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage a portfolio of clients through cold calling and engaging with decision-makers.
• Develop and implement practical sales training programs for different teams and individuals.
• Lead engaging training sessions for new hires and seasoned reps.
• Collaborate with Sales Managers to identify training needs and address them effectively.
• Evaluate training effectiveness using feedback, metrics and performance data.
• Provide ongoing coaching and support to new sales representatives.
• Mentor and coach new hires to help them grow in their roles.
