Qualifications

• 1+ years of customer service, sales, or related experience.
• High School or GED - Required
• Basic analytical skills

Responsibilities

• Complete the Sales Trainee orientation program with emphasis in product knowledge, warehouse operations, customer service, sales, and marketing support
• Will gain knowledge of all aspects of the sales process including outside sales, inside sales, counter sales, project management, etc.
• Become proficient in answering customer inquiries regarding product needs and processing orders
• Generate quotes and prices, give delivery specifications and payment terms, and offer substitute products where appropriate
• Learn to build and maintain customer relationships and provide excellent customer service, be responsive to requests for information, and establish priorities for processing transactions to support sales
• Learn and ensure completion of operational documents and reports such as counter sales reports, shipping documents, tickets, price sheets, and catalogues
• Learn and become proficient in the computer tools and systems used in day-to-day operations
• Works "hands on" in a rotation of various roles within a branch, warehouse, project house, etc. to understand operations and logistics of the materials flow and sales
• May travel on sales calls to shadow
• Perform other duties as assigned
