Job summary

Herc Rentals is seeking candidates for the ProSales Associate (Early Career Program) in the United States. The 12-month Black and Gold Academy provides structured sales training, field exposure, and a clear path to a Territory Sales Representative role within Herc Rentals.

This program targets recent graduates and early-career professionals with 0–5 years of sales or customer-facing experience, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• 0–5 years of sales experience or relevant customer facing experience.
• Recent graduates or early career candidates encouraged to apply.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within assigned territory.
• Interest in a long term sales career with opportunities for advancement.

Responsibilities

• Black and Gold Academy — Sales Training & Development program including professional selling skills, account management, territory planning and customer engagement.
• Shadow Territory Sales Representatives in the field and visit customer job sites with leaders to understand project needs.
• Assist with customer outreach, lead generation and supporting revenue growth within assigned territories.
• Learn core branch operations, equipment processes and logistics; gain exposure to Industrial, National Accounts, Entertainment and Energy services.
• Prepare for full time placement into a Territory Sales Representative role after successful completion of the program and gain visibility with leadership for long term opportunities.
