Job summary

SCI in Los Angeles is seeking an experienced sales leader to coach and develop a high-performing team. You will focus on growing monthly revenue, improving prospecting, and delivering strong product knowledge and pricing strategies.

You will guide staff through contracts, CRM workflows, and campaign collaboration with marketing, while developing annual plans and ensuring compliance. The role emphasizes people development and staff training.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED; an Associate degree is preferred.
• Experience: at least four years in outside or inside direct sales to consumers with a proven record of exceeding goals.
• Licenses: Series 6 or 7, valid in the operating state or obtainable within six months.
• Experience with CRM databases and Salesforce.com is preferred.
• Experience with electronic sales contracts is preferred.
• Funeral Services industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Achieve monthly revenue goals and conversion ratios.
• Develop sales staff skills in prospecting, public speaking, closing, product knowledge, pricing, terms, and electronic contracts.
• Review sales contracts for compliance and provide feedback to staff.
• Utilize CRM systems to identify and assign warm leads.
• Collaborate with marketing on campaigns, target audience, and advertising to grow market share.
• Develop annual sales plans for each associate to support goal attainment.
• Identify and implement innovative solutions to improve efficiencies and manage change effectively.
• Screen candidates, hire or promote skilled staff, and provide feedback for growth.
• Train staff on processes, procedures, and controls.
