Job summary

Anderson Trucking Service, Inc. (ATS) is seeking a Sales Team Manager for our Raleigh, NC office. You will lead a sales team, develop strategies to increase revenue and client base, and participate in recruiting, interviewing and onboarding processes. A base salary range of $55,000–$85,000 plus incentives is offered.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, supervisory skills, and strong budgeting, forecasting, and reporting abilities. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 2-3 years related experience in transportation/logistics.
• One to two years supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong employee performance management, training and coaching, recognition, and reward skills preferred.
• Basic knowledge of budgeting, forecasting sales, profit & loss statements and accounting required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the sales effort of a team as they secure, build, maintain and manage customer relationships.
• Support the qualification of new prospects via inside sales development.
• Provide guidance of converting inbound prospect calls to sales.
• Provide effective employee performance management utilizing SMART goals, constructive feedback, coaching for improvement, and progressive discipline.
