Job summary

80/20 is seeking a Sales Support professional in Indiana (Columbia City) to handle quotes, orders, account setup, and routine documentation. You will coordinate with Inside, Territory, Strategic Accounts, Channel Sales, and Business Development teams to ensure fast, accurate execution and smooth handoffs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years in sales support, customer service, order administration, quoting, or related role.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to complete transactional work accurately.
• Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple requests and changing priorities.
• Professional written and verbal communication with strong service orientation.
• Ability to learn product, pricing, quoting, order-setup, and fulfillment processes.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and business systems used for customer, quote, and order administration.
• Ability to identify missing or inconsistent information and elevate exceptions appropriately.
• Ability to work across Sales, Customer Service, Finance, Operations, Design Services, and other functions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, enter, and support customer quotes and revisions.
• Process inbound orders and sales order entry.
• Set up new customer accounts and coordinate required documentation and approvals.
• Support contracts, purchase orders, invoicing, and other routine documentation.
• Help prepare bulk or standardized quotes and orders as assigned.
• Coordinate shipping, packing lists, order-status, and fulfillment with internal teams.
• Provide administrative support to sales resources to complete customer transactions.
• Follow up on quotes and orders and communicate issues or missing information.
• Maintain accurate customer, quote, order, and account data in systems.
• Identify incomplete or inconsistent order/quote information and resolve issues.
• Prioritize work based on impact and urgency; create clean handoffs with stakeholders.
• Provide backup coverage for Sales Support activities as needed.
• Identify recurring process issues and suggest improvements to speed up and improve accuracy.
• Create clean handoffs and communicate clearly with sellers, customers, and internal teams.
