The Sales Support Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the sales department by providing administrative, operational, and customer service support. This position assists the sales team by managing client inquiries, processing sales orders and facilitating communication between clients and internal teams. The Sales Support Specialist helps drive efficiency, improve customer satisfaction, and enable the sales team to focus on revenue-generating activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage correspondence between the sales team and clients.

Respond to customer inquiries, providing timely and accurate information and troubleshooting assistance.

Order entry in NetSuite.

Prepare sales documents, contracts, proposals, and reports for the sales team.

Track sales targets, monitor performance indicators, and generate sales reports for management.

Schedule meetings, coordinate appointments, and arrange travel for sales staff.

Follow up on sales leads, support the onboarding process for new clients, and ensure client satisfaction post-sale.

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth workflows and resolve any issues impacting sales operations.

Handle administrative tasks such as filing, updating contact information, and managing sales tools and materials.

Requirements and Skills:

Proven experience in sales support, administration, or customer service roles.

Proficiency with MS Office Suite, especially Excel, and experience with NetSuite.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong customer service orientation.

Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management abilities.

Analytical thinking and attention to detail.

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

Ideal candidate will have experience with Costco.
