We are looking for a talented and analytical Sales Support Specialist (SSS) who strives to support a quick sales cycle environment. An SSS will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives, by supporting our sales teams across the board with full-cycle sales process and enablement. You must be comfortable in a dynamic and face-paced work environment with multiple stakeholders internally and externally. You also should be very comfortable with delivering consistently, on time sales materials and project elements, while coordinating with sales teams and other internal stakeholders to ensure a coordinated, united front to our broker / consultant and employer prospect community.

Responsibilities

  • Support new sales opportunities from start to finish
  • Support your sales teams and sales leaders for all market segments assigned to possibly include but not limited to : SMB, mid-market, enterprise, alliances, etc.
  • Understand customer needs and requirements better than anyone
  • Curating and coordinating custom responses that fully highlight the abilities and breadth of TELUS Health offerings
  • Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest from our prospects and their consultants / brokers in support of the sales teams
  • Be extremely comfortable leading and coordinating and choreographic the entire sales process for a world-class experience.
  • Team with channel partners to close deals
  • Perform effective online demos to prospects, when needed

Succeeding as a Sales Support Specialist will require the following core qualifications and skills :

  • Track record of over-achieving
  • Strong leaderships and sales presence
  • Experience working with Salesforce (or similar CRM) and sales tech tools
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong business acumen, and expert negotiation
  • Strong organizational skills, professional maturity, and the ability to think and act strategically
  • A highly energetic, trusted and influential relationship builder that has strong attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Meet quarterly and annual, financial targets
  • Enthusiastically represent TELUS Health in business presentations, relationships, community efforts, and general networking activities
  • Communicate professionally, crisply and confidently
  • Must be able to articulate the TELUS Health business proposition and ROI model passionately
  • Knowledge of EAP, the Insurance industry or group benefits an asset but not required

Please note, this is a remote, home based position. Must reside in the United States.
