Job summary

CPG is seeking a Sales Support Representative in Tempe, AZ to assist the Sales Team delivering integrated colocation, enterprise, hyperscale, and government solutions. You will handle quotes, proposals, and coordination with Operations to meet customer needs.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree and 1–2 years in customer service or sales, with experience in NetSuite a plus; familiarity with Oracle NetSuite and Office tools is preferred. This role requires US citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quotes and full lifecycle proposals for opportunities.
• Follow up on parts deliveries from OEM vendors and partners.
• Coordinate with CPG Operations on scheduling and shipments.
• Submit purchase orders to Accounting.
• Track orders and communicate status to customers.
• Enter accurate data into NetSuite and maintain records.
• Support Outside Sales at customer meetings.
• Generate reports for Sales Representatives.
• Complete ISXs and Submittals for third-party vendors.
• Attend training as assigned by Supervisor.
• Identify opportunities to generate additional revenue.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Sales Support Representative will support the objectives of the Sales Team. The Sales Team sells services that are focused on providing integrated solutions for colocation, enterprise, hyperscale, and government customers. This role will assist in document preparation, proposal management, scope review, and communication with customers on deal specific items.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Quote/Proposal Preparation - full life cycle quote management when necessary
• Follow up on parts deliveries i.e. batteries, caps and other parts from OEM vendors, trade subcontractors and partners.
• Coordinate with CPG Operations and Service Teams on scheduling & shipments.
• Submit Purchase Order requests to Accounting.
• Coordinate with Vendors to release orders and follow up on ship dates.
• Inventory/Logistics Management - track purchased products and communicate with customer regarding their order status
• Ensure accurate and up to date information is entered into NetSuite.
• Attend kick off meetings to assist in smooth handoff of project from bid to execution if necessary.
• Identify additional opportunities for CPG to generate revenue.
• Utilize NetSuite to track all open and closed opportunities.
• Accompany Outside Sales Representative in attending face-to-face meetings with customers.
• Deliver reporting for assigned Sales Representatives.
• Complete ISXs and Submittals for 3rd party vendors.
• Complete training courses assigned by Supervisor.
• Must be a US Citizen

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE (DESIRED)

• Bachelor's Degree
• 1-2 years in a customer service/sales/relationship management role
• Previous data center experience a plus
• Previous experience with Oracle NetSuite a plus

• Microsoft office proficiency - Excel, Word, Power Point
