Sheffield Steel Inc. in Macedonia, OH is seeking a detail-oriented Sales Support Coordinator to manage daily customer service and order entry. You will coordinate with Sales, Operations, Shipping, and Accounting to ensure orders are processed accurately and on time.

The role focuses on delivering excellent service, maintaining accurate order data in our system, and communicating status updates to customers while supporting the Sales team in account activity and growth.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in customer service, order entry, inside sales, or related roles preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and communication skills required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel) and learning new systems.
• Organized and able to manage multiple orders in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Enter customer orders accurately into the operating system.
• Review purchase orders and customer requirements for completeness.
• Confirm order details, including specs, quantities, and delivery requirements.
• Respond to customer inquiries by phone and email in a timely manner.
• Provide customers with order status, production updates, and shipping information.
• Coordinate with Operations, Shipping, and Accounting to fulfill orders.
