Job summary

DHL Global Forwarding is seeking a Sales Support Specialist to back the full sales lifecycle across Atlanta, Miami, and Dallas. You will collaborate with Commercial Owners, Analytics, Legal, and Operations to optimize revenue, retention, and contract management.

The role requires 6+ years in sales support, strong Excel/PowerPoint skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects. Candidates should have a business-focused degree and excellent communication and presentation abilities.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Sales Support/Sales Operations.
• Experience in logistics or related industry preferred.
• Advanced Microsoft Skills required (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Bachelor's degree is desired (Business, Finance, Accounting, Marketing or related field).
• Project Management and Data Analytics skills preferred.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects, work effectively, independently and in a Team environment, and with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Commercial Owners to prevent churn and improve retention.
• Deliver data-driven insights to improve customer value.
• Bridge insights between Commercial and Analytics for informed decisions.
• Execute post-implementation reviews and monitor customer satisfaction outcomes.
• Track customer performance metrics and support continuous improvement.
• Manage lead generation programs and optimize leads for conversion.
• Enable Consignee Selling Trips across the US and visiting countries with project management and ROI tracking.
• Manage Contract LifeCycle processes and ensure governance compliance.
• Liaison between sales, customers and internal departments.
• Support customer problem management and report on corrective actions.
• Generate and review reports for customer business reviews.
• Provide guidance to less experienced teammates.
• Support project implementation, deployment of systems/solutions, and process improvement.
• Support pre- and after-sales activities.
