Job summary

SGL Carbon is seeking a motivated back-office sales support associate for the Strongsville area to assist Area Sales Managers and VP-Sales. You will process orders in SAP, handle RFQs, invoicing, and payments follow-up, and support pre-sales and post-sales activities.

The role emphasizes CRM data quality, coordination with the sales team, and market research support. English fluency is required, with Spanish or German as a plus.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
• 1–2 years of experience in customer service/technical customer service.
• Fluent English; Spanish or German a plus.
• Familiarity with reading technical documents such as blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Provide back-office support to Area Sales Managers and VP-Sales.
• Process orders in SAP and manage RFQs for the Americas.
• Prepare invoicing of progress billings and follow up on payments.
• Support the Letter of Credit process and other financial instruments.
• Coordinate with sales team on pre-sales and post-sales activities.
• Maintain CRM data quality and integrity.
• Assist customers with RFQs and quotations.
