Job summary

The Dixon Group in Chestertown, MD is seeking a Sales Support Specialist to partner with the Regional Sales Manager, driving sales initiatives, coordinating training, supporting new product launches, and managing key customer relationships.

A background in customer service or sales and experience with CRM systems are important, as is strong communication and organizational skills. This role is based at Dixon's Chestertown location and offers opportunities to impact regional sales.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years of experience in customer service, sales, and/or data analysis (required).
• 3–5 years of experience in industrial sales is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills with an outgoing, positive, and professional attitude.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Make outbound sales calls to select customers to promote products and services.
• Research and identify sales and product trends, providing actionable analysis to the sales team.
• Coordinate and track growth programs for key distributors.
• Take responsibility for special projects, research, and administrative assignments as needed.
• Utilize Dixon's CRM program to accurately record and communicate customer interactions.
• Participate in regional calls, meetings, and training coordination efforts.
• Providing daily operational guidance, performance feedback, and workflow management.
• Coordinate project based pricing and quotes.
