Job summary

TEGNA is seeking a Sales Assistant in Atlanta to be the linchpin connecting the Sales Organization with clients. You will support the Sales staff and Fulfillment team, handling order entry, client scheduling, and campaign tracking while ensuring accurate reporting.

You will use WideOrbit platforms to analyze campaigns, maintain client relationships, and help ensure timely delivery and order accuracy across the department.

Responsibilities

• Daily interaction with agencies and station counterparts
• Order entry, client schedules, and tracking of audience delivery; develop presentations and provide high-level customer service
• Resolve discrepancies promptly and provide overall sales support
• Ensure all orders follow standardized TEGNA coding for accurate reporting
• Work closely with TEGNA Sales Management to assure accuracy, continuity and deadlines
• Actively work in TEGNA selling platforms (WideOrbit Traffic, WideOrbit Media Sales, WideOrbit Connect)
• Create analysis on campaigns to determine clearance trends, avails by station, sell-out percentages, revenue reporting
• Coordinate with Training opportunities for Sales Assistants at TEGNA Sales
